| From 2001, MJ started to prepare for establishing Gene Bank, and invested a huge capital at the purchase of Gene Bank Warehouse in January 2002. The collection of donator’s blood specimen has been officially starting from September 2002. So far we have stored more than 31,000 donators’ blood specimens, the specimen information includes: high blood pressure and high cholesterol etc., various modern diseases. Since the blood specimens are abundant, and the skill of storage and related technique are all committed in a world’s top level, it has been gotten the attention at the realm of international medical research.
The MJ Gene Bank, within the abundant and well-storage blood specimens, has gained the attention in various industries. Owing to the expectations from industries, MJ has started a plan for building a databank and a platform for the usage of blood specimen. And hope to open it to the usage of the local and foreign commercial and noncommercial organizations, such as pharmacy, biotechnology and research unit, in future. | |
